What is the difference between Irreva and Smallpdf or iLovePDF?

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Why does PDF compression reduce size less than expected?
PDFs that already consist mainly of text compress very little because text is already compact. The biggest compression gains come from PDFs containing embedded images. Scanned PDFs (images of pages) compress the most significantly.
